Environmental Impact

Many people are unaware that asphalt is the most recycled material used in the U.S. today. J.H. Rudolph & Co., Inc. uses recycled shingles, old asphalt pavement and rubber tires in the production of new asphalt for all of our paving projects. Recycling in asphalt production saves U.S. taxpayers more than an estimated $300 million a year!

J.H. Rudolph & Co., Inc. also works hard to stay on top of the latest technological advances in emissions controls for each of our asphalt plants. We have a dedicated team of employees who make sure our plants follow the stringent EPA guidelines mandated on a daily basis. In 2002, the EPA deleted asphalt plants from its list of major sources of hazardous air pollutants.
